Our Purpose
Highslopes is a Community Centre built to provide a safe, local venue meeting the needs of all in the local community. The hall provides a home for 2nd Portsmouth Scouts alongside dance groups, theatre groups and much more. It also provides a great setting for birthday parties, meetings and other sessions.
This site had been the home of 2nd Portsmouth Scouts for more than 20 years and in 2001, with support from The Big Lottery and others, a brand new purpose built, energy efficient community centre was commissioned.
The centre was completed in 2006 and was officially opened in 2008 by H.R.H Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex.

CHARITY NO. 1106313
A community hall on the borders of Paulsgrove and Portchester managed by West Paulsgrove Scout and Community Association. Base of 2nd Portsmouth Scouts. Hall available for hire for weekends and school holidays by Scout groups. Available at weekends for children's parties.
